Ezekiel's guided vision records measurements for nearly every wall, gate, and chamber, given in long cubits of about 20.5 inches. This model follows those figures in their common reconstruction.
A walled square roughly 500 cubits (about 860 ft) on a side holds three outer gates and an outer court. A raised inner court carries the bronze altar before the temple house — porch, Holy Place, and the Most Holy Place at the far west.
